What wheelchair transportation with Masa looks like
Every wheelchair van in our fleet is fitted with a hydraulic lift or low-angle ramp, so boarding never depends on how strong you are that day. Your driver positions the chair, engages the brakes, and secures it with a four-point tie-down system before the van moves an inch. A separate lap-and-shoulder belt keeps you comfortably supported for the ride.
We accommodate manual chairs, standard power chairs, transport chairs, and most scooters. If you're unsure whether your equipment will fit, tell us the make and rough dimensions when you call and we'll confirm before the day of your trip rather than leaving it to chance.
Our service is door-to-door, not curb-to-curb. That means your driver comes to the door, helps you navigate thresholds, handles doors and elevators, and stays with you until you're settled with the front desk or a staff member. On the return trip, we come back to the same spot and bring you home the same way.

Tell us the pickup address, the appointment time, the type of chair, and whether there are steps at the door. Two or three minutes on the phone is usually all it takes.

We confirm the details
Our office confirms your trip in writing and by phone, including the pickup window and the return plan, so nothing is left to assumption.

We take you there and back
Your driver arrives on time, secures the chair, and gets you to the door. When you're finished, we bring you home the same careful way.
